Our solid oak frames are hand made and as traditionally built as possible. The porches are hand made to individual sizes as per your requirements. We can and have supplied porches all over the United Kingdom and can also supply a fitting service (location dependant). Failing this we are happy to help you with acquiring a trusted local trade. This can be found on-line very easily. This was born out of creating this beautiful piece for a family in the Cambridgeshire fens, and had been quite popular ever since.

This was installed by ourselves and completed with traditional oak pegs to secure the frame together. Is supplied planed / sanded only. All edges will be eased, so there is not any sharp edges. Most people leave the oak as it is, this allows the oak to weather itself and turn a silvery dark colour, this is the timbers own waterproofing / oxidation process.

Otherwise you are perfectly ok to stain or oil your porch once installed. As standard our porches come with a 45 degree pitch roof on all designs. This may depend on door height and if you have a window or anything else that may prevent the 45 degree pitch, so may have to be a shallower pitch, this can be discussed. The listing price is based on an external footprint of a 2.9ft wide external door way. Please ask for bespoke sizes.

For bespoke orders, we simply need to know the width of your doorway x the height, if there are any restrictions. The drivers will help if / when they can but please understand they are not obliged to do this, you would ideally need a second pair of hands to help unload from the pallet. Please note this service may depend from area to area, most depots are very good.
